New from Oaks Day Nursery 〰️
In Caterpillar Room, this week, we have been learning all about and celebrating Remembrance Day.
We all enjoyed working together to create our beautiful, poppy window display for all to see, the children took such pride in their handprints looking at all the little details their hands had.
We explored our multi terrain tuff tray, using small figurines and vehicles.
We explored the play dough, making lots of beautiful red poppies where we spoke about the importance of poppies, our little caterpillars already knew so much about the meaning behind them which was lovely too see and hear.
We created our very own poppy paintings, using apples, and collage materials which was fun, and messy.
And we even managed to have our weekly cooking class where we made our very own, poppy cakes, using juicy strawberries which were delicious.
We all joined together to do our two minutes silence, and everyone did excellent, we are very proud of each and everyone!!
