BIG NEWS!!
We would like to introduce to you all, our “Nursery Lending Library”
Creating our wonderful lending library will help give our children and families, the opportunity to borrow books to enjoy at home with each other. There are so many amazing benefits from sharing stories together, it helps build and foster a love of reading, strengthens and supports language development, and creates special moments and bonds between children and their parents or carers, outside of the setting.
Reading opens the doors to imagination, creativity, and learning and with your support, we can make it even more special for our little caterpillars and butterflies.
Your children are welcome to choose a book to take home and share with you, all we ask is you kindly look after them, and ensure all books are signed out when taken and signed back in when returned, so we can keep track of our lovely collection for everyone to share, borrow and enjoy.
We would like to thank you all, in advance for supporting your child's reading journey.
Your child’s library and reward cards will be given out from tomorrow, once your child has read ten books and you’ve collected ten stamps, there will be a little prize for all their hard work, time and love of reading.
We hope you enjoy lots of cosy story times together at home and we look forward to hearing all about it!!
